On July 19, 2025, a group of UnionBank employees came together to make a difference in the lives of 50 Special Needs Education (SNED) learners. Despite the unfavorable weather, the team pushed through with their third GoBeyond Communities (GBC) initiative, bringing donations and joy to one grateful community.
Among the team was UnionBank Branch Ambassador Deza, who marked her third GBC project with heartfelt gratitude. “This is my third GoBeyond Activity and definitely would not be the last,” she shared. “The SNED learners will surely enjoy, appreciate, and benefit from these donations. I am beyond grateful and blessed for this opportunity given by UnionBank and to be able to share these blessings with the learners. I’m also thankful to my co-employees for their participation despite the unfavorable weather condition. They are truly engaged.”
The support given to 50 SNED learners will hopefully start a ripple of meaningful change, showing how purposeful action can uplift lives and inspire these young learners.
This project is part of UnionBank’s flagship, bank-sponsored CSR program, GoBeyond Communities, which continues to reach underserved areas across the Philippines. Through employee-led efforts like this, UnionBank remains committed to helping more communities and educational institutions thrive—one meaningful activity at a time.
