From the Customer Experience Group, AJ Atienza had always been fascinated by building software and fintech. In this episode, he shared the Bank’s mission towards digital transformation and helping UnionBankers.

Tracy Lim, Head of Portfolio Management, became the sole Philippine representative from the Banking sector at Salesforce’s Dreamforce 2019. From there, she talked about the Bank’s digital transformation in ‘The Power of Business as the Greater Platform for Change.’

Marco Lorenzo Romero started as a Lead Management Trainee through the Bank’s initiative to tap and hone young leaders to power the future of banking.

 

His interest in cryptocurrency led him into learning blockchain and became not just a blockchain developer but a mentor. UBX Philippines, a wholly-owned subsidiary and the fintech company of UnionBank, became Marco’s platform to unlock his potential, exponentially.

Chief Customer Experience Officer Ana Aboitiz-Delgado once dreamed of becoming an art curator. After realizing her calling to elevate customer experience, she took the leap of faith and joined UnionBank.

 

Today, she continues to create innovative strategies to embed banking in our customers’ lives.

UnionBank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer, Ms. Michelle Rubio believes there is no substitute for learning and hard work. She played a vital role in implementing the Bank’s Agile and digital transformation that accelerated the growth of UnionBank in recent years.

Our VP for Sales and Business Development – Fintech Business Group Erika Dizon has two very specific dreams when she was a child, to be a Newscaster and to be the First Lady of the country.

 

She’s achieved the first one and has so much possibilities ahead of her to fulfill the second one. Currently, she plays a vital role in strengthening the Bank’s partnerships with other Fintech companies.

She now leads the teams behind UB app, UnionBank Online, The Portal, our API systems, our robot Eve, our chatbot Rafa, and many more.

UnionBank’s Operations Support Manager for Customer Experience, Tobi Tobias, displayed her ability to balance her work and home roles. She’s been doing that for the last three decades as a UnionBanker.
